After more than a decade of weekly nights dedicated to the DC dance music community, Soundcheck has officially closed its doors.

Thank you to every single person who walked down the stairs and into our world. To the staff who turned a basement into a home, to the artists who trusted us with their most intimate sets, and to the community that filled the room with energy week after week — you are the reason this space meant so much.

Our Last Call Closing Series was a true reflection of what Soundcheck has always been to the city: a cornerstone of the dance music culture. From rare, up-close headline performances to longtime Club Glow favorites, and most importantly, a dance floor full of familiar faces, these final nights at 1420 K St were everything we could have hoped for.

All good things must come to an end, and we’re proud we got to close this chapter on such a high note.

Even more, we’re excited for what comes next.
